Laser Assisted Hatching (LAH)

Laser Assisted Hatching (LAH)

This is another ‘add on’ procedure. It is usually recommended for women over 38 where we use a laser beam in a very precise task of ‘cracking’ the shell of the egg. It helps the blastocyst in hatching and for the embryo to hatch out of the egg. The idea is that laser helps by creating a crack or weak spot in the shell from which the embryo can come out.
